About CareRadar

Finding care for someone you love is one of the hardest things a family does, often under pressure and with little time. CareRadar exists to make the first step simpler: one place to find, compare and contact every CQC-registered care home in England.

We list 14,902 care and nursing homes registered with the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England. You can browse by region, county and town, or filter by the type of care you need.

Independent and free

We are not owned by a care group, and we never charge families to search. Care homes can claim their listing for free and optionally pay to feature, but that never changes the information we show families or our coverage.

Always verify directly

Our listings are built from public CQC data. We validate the weekly directory source, compare releases by stable CQC location ID, and publish a record of detected changes. The current directory snapshot is dated 2026-08-05. Always confirm fees, vacancies and care details directly with the home before making a decision. We are not affiliated with the CQC.
